AUSTRALIA POST
Involved in a partnership between RMIT University and Australia Post in a student project
To create a platform where all their 90,000 staff from across Australia can submit their ideas directly to Australia post. Additionally, users need to be reassured that their ideas are being listened to and whether or not it will be taken into consideration. The project is to create a tool that can filter and funnel 90,000 possible ideas for Australia Post and their users so that it can be comprehensible. As of now, Australia Post’s current method of allowing their staff to submit ideas is not well promoted throughout the company. Only a few hundred of their staff are active. The idea must be engaging, long lasting and well promoted throughout the company.
To meet Australia Post’s aim to engage and encourage users to submit ideas. We aim to create a hub for users to communicate among one another about ideas. We want to enable users to reply and comment on others ideas. We see this as a way to mold users ideas into something better. The system will implement a voting system. Where users can vote for ideas that they like or think will benefit the company. We chose to administer this tool as a way to filter ideas.

My role in the project was to:
- Work alongside Australia Post and RMIT stakeholders to identify pain points they faced with their UX interfaces as part of a joint project.
- Perform user research and develop prototypes.
- Regularly report progress of prototype and gather feedback from stakeholders weekly.
